With CARES, we are centralizing fundraising, expanding awareness, and inspiring broader support across the REALTOR® family and beyond. Through CARES, C.A.R.’s charitable organizations can concentrate on what matters most – delivering programs that create real impact.

In 2026, we will launch the inaugural CARES Annual Campaign, the first unified, year-round
fundraising effort to support all of C.A.R.’s charitable causes. Donors may choose the cause closest
to their heart or make an unrestricted gift to meet the greatest needs. We are already inviting early
pledges to help lay the foundation for this historic milestone.
CARES is a chance to do more, give more, and be more – together. By strengthening our philanthropic voice, we not only change lives but also show the public what it means to be a REALTOR®: a leader, a neighbor, and a champion for community.

The mission of CARES is to strengthen communities across California by channeling the compassion and generosity of REALTORS® through meaningful philanthropic efforts.
CARES was established to unify C.A.R.’s charitable causes, expand awareness, and centralize fundraising. This allows the organizations to focus more on programs and impact, while making it easier for donors to give and see the difference their support makes.

Yes! Although the inaugural campaign launches in 2026, we are accepting early pledges and gifts now to help build momentum.
Your contribution supports housing affordability and access, scholarships, education, and disaster relief across California. The CARES Board will direct funds where they are most needed, but donors may also designate a specific cause.
Everyone with an interest in supporting CARES mission. REALTORS®, brokerages, Local Associations of REALTORS® (AORs), affiliates, businesses, and even members of the public are invited to give.
Yes, C.A.R. CARES, Inc. has applied for 501(c)(3) tax-exempt status; deductibility of this contribution is subject to IRS approval.
