For over 100 years, until the end of 2024, California Real Estate magazine provided news and insights keeping California REALTORS® informed about crucial issues affecting their business. C.A.R. is proud of this legacy of in-depth coverage spanning the many decades of California real estate.
Like life itself, change is a constant in our industry. C.A.R. has been at the forefront of industry change that we’ve communicated to members in a variety of ways. As the pace of new technologies has exponentially increased, we’ve developed new forms of communication – several websites, numerous newsletters, eblasts, virtual events, and more. And while California Real Estate magazine consistently rated among the top member benefits over the decades, the cost to produce, print and mail each issue continued to rise while revenues declined. As such, C.A.R. leadership made the decision to cease publication of the magazine and focus those funds toward other efforts to support our members.
The Q4/Fall 2024 issue was the last issue of California Real Estate magazine.
